Cuba and Belize mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations this Monday.

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed, on the social media platform X, its "firm commitment to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and fraternity that unite us."

In 1995, Belize and Cuba formalized their diplomatic relations, marking a historic moment between their peoples and governments.

Driven by profound humanitarianism, over a thousand Cuban professionals have provided services in the fields of sports, health, construction, and culture. Additionally, more than 250 Belizean youth have trained as healthcare professionals, athletes, and specialists in technical and pedagogical sciences on the island.
