Experts from a dozen countries opened a scientific-technical workshop on technologies, systems and construction materials in Cuba, under the premise of seeking better performances in favor of sustainable development.
Based in Havana's Conference Center, the event will be held until April 6, associated with the 12th International Construction Fair, FECONS 2018, at Pabexpo exhibition complex, one of Havana's most important. According to Cuban Deputy Construction Minister, Angel Vilaragut, specialists from 12 countries take part in the Conference, which will address issues such as the use of information and communication technologies in the world of construction, the development of new products and the rescue of buildings with heritage value. Experiences regarding the development of tourism, housing programs, local production of materials and architectural solutions for energy efficiency, environmental protection and the demands of climate change, will also be included. Keynote speeches, exhibitions, panels and workshops characterize the work dynamics of the lecture and fair, the manager said.
