CubaPLUS Guyana and CubaPLUS CARICOM magazines will be featured at GuyExpo 2025, set to open this Thursday at the Sophia Exhibition Centre in Georgetown under the theme "Transformation Through Entrepreneurship and Innovation."

As in previous editions, attendees will have free access to both publications, available in print at the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) booth and digitally via download from their website: www.cubaplusmagazine.com.

Having been in circulation for two and three years, respectively, CubaPLUS Guyana focuses on Guyana's tourism, cultural, and business landscape, while CubaPLUS CARICOM covers these aspects for the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member states.

Volume 4 of CubaPLUS Guyana features compelling articles, including an exclusive interview with His Excellency Halim Majeed, Guyana's Ambassador to Cuba, who discusses the close bonds of friendship and cooperation uniting his country with Cuba.

Additionally, it presents several features, such as one on the enigmatic petroglyphs—mysterious ancestral rock carvings—and the captivating colonial history of Fort Zeelandia, built between 1740 and 1743 by the Dutch West India Company.

Regarding topics related to the largest of the Antilles (Cuba), the publication showcases its rich archaeological heritage: from the Taíno remains in Bariay, the site of a historic encounter that transformed the island, to the secrets hidden within its seabed, where nearly 1800 shipwrecks lie in silence. Moreover, it includes, as customary, articles on music, plastic arts, and the general culture of both nations.

Meanwhile, Volume 3 of CubaPLUS CARICOM explores the significance of the well-known phrase “The Caribbean that unites us,” an expression reflecting the importance of ties between the region's nations and their future development.

It also exclusively features remarks by Eugenio Martínez, Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean at Cuba's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the importance of intra-regional relations, as well as another interview with the Guyanese Ambassador to Havana, His Excellency Halim Majeed, concerning the prospects for Caribbean nations' ties.

Furthermore, CubaPLUS CARICOM presents various historical anniversaries commemorating the most important national holidays of the Community's 15 member nations, alongside interviews and/or articles featuring various renowned Caribbean artists.
