CubaPLUS Magazine to Feature Latest on Cuba at FIHAV 2025

Established 18 years ago, the Canadian magazine CubaPLUS will be present at the 41st Havana International Fair, taking place from November 24th to 29th. This presence will allow it to showcase the realities of the largest of the Antilles across fundamental sectors of the nation's economic and social fabric, including tourism, general arts, international health services, sports, cuisine, and traditions.

Edition 67, to be distributed free of charge at FIHAV, will primarily feature the advantages and benefits of a new dollar-denominated financial product, accessible to both individuals and businesses nationwide. Readers will also gain firsthand insight into Havana's historic landmarks—the city recently celebrated its 506th anniversary—including the iconic castles of El Morro, La Cabaña, La Fuerza, La Punta, and the watchtower of La Chorrera.

Furthermore, our pages will provide information on the San José warehouses, home to over 100 artisan stalls where tourists can acquire souvenirs from their trip to the largest of the Antilles. We also highlight the paradisiacal Cayo Jutías and the La Picadora Community, ideal for rural getaways.

Art will be prominently featured, showcasing the magnificent visual art of Diana Balboa and the music of the talented and experienced saxophonist César López. Cuban health and industry sectors also receive coverage in this edition.

CubaPLUS Latinos, the Spanish-language publication also under the umbrella of Taina Communications LTD, will be at FIHAV featuring a highly engaging article, among others, on the Colón Free Zone—one of the Caribbean's and the world's most significant commercial hubs. This article will detail new facilities for obtaining Shopping Tourism visas.

The lush natural beauty of the Guanacabibes peninsula and the paradisiacal beaches of Jardines del Rey are highlighted in this 49th edition, where art is also represented by figures such as musician and designer Gabo Cárdenas.

CubaPLUS Guyana, now in its 4th edition, delves into various topics concerning Cuba and, primarily, its sister nation, Guyana. An exclusive interview with His Excellency Mr. Halim Majeed, Guyana's Ambassador to the island, will provide an update on the strong bonds uniting these two Caribbean nations, which will celebrate 53 years of diplomatic relations this December 8th.

Finally, CubaPLUS CARICOM, a significant publication covering tourism, economy, art, and other relevant topics from the Caribbean Community member states, will once again be showcased at FIHAV. Cuba, the largest of the Antilles, has maintained fraternal relations with CARICOM for over 50 years.

Volume 3 of the magazine notably includes insights from Eugenio Martínez, Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean at Cuba's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Guyanese Ambassador Mr. Majeed. Their respective reflections explore the future of relations between the island and CARICOM, which, in their view, continue to enrich these significant ties and inspire their further development.
