Havanatur S.A., the International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies, officially launched its 2026 portfolio this Wednesday, featuring a curated selection of 30 major events.
During the presentation, Roldan Leiva Alfonso, Director of Events for the tour operator, forecasted a sustained growth in the sector for the coming year. This follows a highly successful current year, which has already seen 116 events—a remarkable 125% increase compared to 2024.
Several representatives from various Organizing Committees shared their professional experiences collaborating with Havanatur, offering high praise for the agency’s management and the quality of execution in their respective events.
A highlight of the session was the introduction of “Fiesta de Colores,” a new initiative tailored for the LGBTIQ+ segment in partnership with Blue Diamond Resorts. The project has already generated significant buzz within the industry.
In his closing remarks, Yoelkis Salazar Rivery, President of Havanatur S.A., thanked the attendees gathered at the Muthu Habana Tower Hotel. He emphasized that the agency prides itself on a highly skilled team of professionals with extensive expertise in the specialized tourism and MICE segments.
The launch was attended by officials from the Ministry of Tourism, executives from the Viajes Cuba Group and Havanatur S.A., along with members of the national and international press accredited in Cuba.
