Under the evocative slogan "The Destination is You," the new tourism promotion campaign adopted in Cuba began this Saturday, based fundamentally on the friendliness of the Cuban people, according to the country's authorities.
The 43rd edition of the FITCuba 2025 International Tourism Fair was based on the philosophy alluded to in this slogan, as well as other closely related phrases such as "The Landscape is You," "The Culture is You," "The History is You," "The Security is You," and "The Future is You," which of course suggest the idiosyncrasies and behaviors of the Cuban people.
Although the official closing of professional activities took place the day before at the renowned Tropicana cabaret, this Saturday's event will be dedicated to the general public, who will be able to mingle with industry professionals who participated in the event at the Morro Cabaña Complex, the official headquarters of FITCuba, and at La Piragua, an esplanade adjacent to the Hotel Nacional de Cuba and the Malecón.
This will give the guests from 58 countries around the world who attended FITCuba the opportunity to interact with the capital's population, dance, and have fun, allowing them to see how much truth lies in the new campaign. FitCuba 2025 is considered by the country's authorities to be one of the most successful in recent times, and the 44th edition, to be held in Varadero, dedicated to sun and beach tourism and with Canada as the guest of honor, will not be left behind.
