Proxcor S.A., the Cuban-Slovak joint venture established six years ago, continues to demonstrate its commitment to the island's food sector through a development strategy that seeks to consolidate its presence in the domestic market and move toward exporting its products to more than 100 countries.
To further showcase its product lines, particularly its cookies, wafers, and recently, cereals, the company is participating with a booth in the 20th edition of the ExpoCaribe International Fair 2025, taking place in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba. There, it is presenting its TOCO brand confectionery and GUANI cereals.
These products, according to a recent interview with this publication by the company's Commercial Director, Pavel Alexander Tamayo, are available throughout the country in retail chains, online platforms, and hotels in various formats, and have been well-received.
Based in the city of Caibarién, in the central province of Villa Clara, this entity, a leader in the confectionery and cereal sector in the national market, plans to market its products in the Caribbean region as part of its export plans. This underscores the importance of Proxcor's presence at the current event, as Zuzana Skolárová, the company's General Manager, stated that the time is right to expand its reach and demonstrate that quality food products can also be exported from Cuba.
ExpoCaribe 2025, which opened last Monday and will conclude on the 27th, features representatives from approximately 300 Cuban companies, 41 foreign companies from 35 countries, as well as more than 450 economic actors from all sectors of the economy.
