Successful participation of Cuban photographer in international exhibition

The exhibition of the Cuban photographer Daylene Rodríguez Moreno, in the eighth edition of the international meeting Arte en la Red, convened by the Casa de América, in Madrid, constitutes a complete success, in the opinion of organizers of the event.

The contest, of a hybrid character - face-to-face and digital – will be open until December 30 at the Guayasamín gallery, in the Palacio de Linares, of Casa de América, where works by 20 creators selected by the public and a jury will be presented by renowned artists Decerto, Céline Rodríguez and Marina Vargas.

For the organizers of this meeting, art has no borders, it has no limits, neither physical nor virtual, which is why they present the work of artists from numerous countries and from all genres of plastic arts, with an emphasis in the Ibero-American region.

Regarding her presence at the event, Rodríguez Moreno expressed her satisfaction at being able to participate, while pondering the importance of the Havana Biennial, a Cuban visual arts event, which has allowed her to strengthen her artistic career.

In addition to the Rodríguez Moreno exhibition, Arte en la Red also features works by her compatriot Adrín Fuentes, from the province of Cienfuegos, main partner of DINS (Design of the Institutional Image), a recently created MSME whose objective is to strengthen the institutional image of the Cuban company, both state, private and mixed, to support its development inside and outside the country.

Casa de América is a public consortium made up of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, the Community of Madrid and the City Council of the Spanish capital, whose main objective is to strengthen ties between Spain and Latin America and the Caribbean.
