The 15th annual Varadero Gourmet International Festival is set to delight palates from September 11th to 15th at its traditional home, the Plaza América Convention Center. This year's edition will celebrate the artistry of international fusion cuisine, announced Lázaro Casabella, General Director of Palmares, at a press conference this Wednesday.
Speaking from Havana's legendary Tropicana cabaret, Casabella unveiled details of the festival, which promises a rich program of events, including conferences, masterclasses, tastings, competitions, chef and sommelier pairings, and product showcases.
The prestigious event will gather entrepreneurs and experts involved in the management and marketing of food and beverages from Cuba and abroad, as well as academics and other professionals in the leisure and hospitality industry.
The festival anticipates welcoming representatives from companies across the sector from around 10 countries, in addition to Cuba.
Organized by the Palmares Extra-Hotel Company, the Varadero Gourmet International Festival enjoys the support of the Ministry of Tourism and the Cubasol Group.
