The GuyExpo exhibition returns as an annual event

GuyExpo, Guyana's largest trade and investment exhibition returned as an annual event, after an impasse of several years, to be carried out now with greater force with the participation of a large number of national and international companies. The exhibition, which will take place at the Sophia Exhibition Complex in Georgetown, on the 16th to the 19th of this month, is considered the longest running exhibition in the Caribbean, and offers participants the possibility of exchanging views, meeting, establishing contacts, negotiating and showing skills, talents and creative works.

In addition, it brings together a wide sample of producers of crafts, furniture, clothing, jewelry, horticulture, pharmaceuticals, tourism, information technology and the cultural diversity of the country. GuyExpo is a partnership between the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, GO-INVEST and the private sector, allowing companies to increase their competitiveness, efficiency and promote growth, while the thousands of visitors who come to the stands it constitutes a great opportunity to learn about the wide range of local products and services.

Held for the first time in 1995, it has traditionally been the event that has shown the culture and economic potential of this country and what it has achieved in its past editions, attracting hundreds of local and international companies, creating a platform for producers to display and promote their products, and access new business opportunities. Regarding this return, its usual headquarters has been subjected to repair and major remodeling to offer its customers a better and more comfortable scenery.
