According to updates published by Sol de Cuba, a media outlet of the Ministry of Tourism, several hotels are fully operational in Holguín, Santa Lucía, Cayo Santa María, Trinidad, Viñales, and Jibacoa, catering to beachgoers, culture enthusiasts, and nature lovers alike.

In Holguín, one of the country's most appealing destinations in the eastern region, the Gran Muthu Almirante Beach and Villa Turey (formerly known as Club Amigo Atlántico Guardalavaca) remain open. The publication notes that this region stands out for its extensive white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and close proximity to both natural and cultural landmarks.

In Camagüey, Playa Santa Lucía features the operational Planta Real Santa Lucía hotel, which is ideal for those wishing to explore one of the Caribbean’s longest barrier reefs, as well as enjoy renowned scuba diving and sportfishing spots.

In central Cuba, Cayo Santa María hosts the fully open Los Cayos hotel, set against a pristine, naturally preserved environment.

Just outside Trinidad—declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988—the Meliá Trinidad Península remains in operation. In the capital, featured properties include the Tryp Habana Libre, Capri, Paseo del Prado, Iberostar Selection Parque Central, the iconic Nacional de Cuba, Meliá Habana, Packard, and Chateau Miramar, among others. MINTUR also noted that other complementary properties are gradually resuming regular operations.

Meanwhile, Cuba’s premier beach destination, Varadero, maintains a high level of activity along the Hicacos Peninsula, with options focused on family travel, wellness, and high-end All-Inclusive resorts.

Bookings remain available at several Varadero hotels, including Brisas del Caribe, Mar del Sur, Playa de Oro, Los Delfines, Club Tropical, Villa Cuba, Cuatro Palmas, Barceló Solymar, Meliá Varadero, Meliá Las Américas, Meliá Internacional, Iberostar Selection Varadero, and Sol Palmeras.

Additionally, the governing tourism body pointed out that several accommodations are fully operational in key cities across the nation, such as Santa Clara, the picturesque town of Remedios, Ciego de Ávila, Camagüey, Holguín, Gibara, and Santiago de Cuba.
