Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Saturday positively valued the attendance of CARICOM leaders at the G77+China Summit.
On X social media, the Cuban leader held a meeting with presidents, prime ministers and heads of delegations of the member countries of the subregional bloc attending the meeting.
A few hours before the closing of the meeting, which is being held for two days, Díaz-Canel stressed the significance of having the voice of the Caribbean heard at the plenary session.
CARICOM has expressed in the broad and diverse integration bloc its strong commitment to meaningful exchanges among nations of the Global South and to the construction of more sustainable economies.
On Friday, Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosvelt Skerrit assured that CARICOM remains ready to support and encourage all partnerships that are mutually beneficial, lead to synergistic solutions and foster socio-economic growth in the Caribbean area.
