The International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies Havanatur SA. received on Friday, October 4, the first flight of the autumn-winter 2024 season from the Russian company Rosneft. The ship of the airline “Nordwind Airlines” N-46101 disembarked with 374 passengers from the Slavic nation to develop health tourism programs in the Varadero resort. 
This inaugural flight was welcomed by provincial authorities, officials from the delegation of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) in the territory together with directors and officials of the Havanatur Group.
As previously announced by this tour operator, in view of the fall and beginning of the Cuban winter, four frequencies have been finalized that will share two-week stay programs, designed under the concept of a higher quality of life, which increases the number of tourists from this company compared to previous years.
Varadero, the island's main sun and beach destination, has become an ideal place to develop programs aimed at workers and families, consolidating its experience of more than ten years since the beginning of these operations. Tourists who arrive under this concept enjoy outdoor physical activities, excursions, medical check-ups and other activities related to the conservation and care of the environment, as pillars of a policy that emphasizes health, quality and well-being for life under the motto: Live More. 
Havanatur, with experience in this type of tourism after ten years, has proposed, looking to the coming 2025, to consolidate its efforts in this modality and expand to other markets and destinations on the Island that have the favorable conditions to promote business policies that seek to encourage in their workers the promotion of these pillars associated with health and a higher quality of life.
