With the arrival this Friday in Holguín of a charter flight from the Venezuelan airline RUTACA, a new air route has just started that will link twice a week the terminal International “Simón Bolívar”, from Maiquetía, State of La Guaira, with “Frank País”, in the Cuban eastern province.

Flights will take place every Tuesday and Friday, which is considered a great opportunity to link the South American nation with that eastern Cuban territory, recognized for its intense cultural life, beautiful natural sights and paradisiacal beaches.

This commercial action consolidates the strategy initiated by the International Group of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies Havanatur S.A., in September 2023 by bringing more than 550 agents from entities in the sector to the East of Cuba and present the product together with their proposals for circuits and combinations in the territory.

This visit constitutes the opportunity for more than 70 tourism professionals belonging to the twenty main travel agencies in Cuba, together with a group of important media present in the Venezuelan nation, dare to live a unique experience that allows them to discover and enjoy in situ the attractions of the region, in pursuit of the subsequent commercialization of this expanding destination.

The new air route will also serve to market, as part of the area, the province of Santiago de Cuba and its main attributes, associated with history, heritage and traditions that constitute Cuban nationality.

In this endeavor, Havanatur, recognized as a leader in the promotion and marketing of tourist products of the largest of the Antilles, will have as a commercial partner in said operation the agency Belraysa Tours; Travel Group S.A., with a wide portfolio of products in the  Cuban destination such as health tourism, events and conferences, in addition to combined and stay programs that will be offered, from the beginning of this new route, accommodation options and excursions in the Cuban East.
