Proxcor/Guani, a perfect combination

When talking about breakfast, it's impossible not to mention cereal, and Cuba currently has the recently created Guani brand, which has garnered the attention of everyone who has tried it.

Precisely during the third day of the International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2025), the presentation of this cereal took place. It is manufactured in Cuba under the auspices of the Cuban-Slovak joint venture Proxcor S.A. (2019). With chocolate, honey, and corn flavors, Guani comes in various 180-gram and 1, 2, 3, and 5-kilogram formats. The latter are sold primarily to the tourism sector, especially to hotel groups such as Cubanacan and Gran Caribe, which already include it in their breakfast offerings.

Located in the city of Caibarién, Villa Clara province, the factory also produces sorbets, cookies, and candies, with a Cuban flavor and superior quality. Something important to mention is that this joint venture is very environmentally conscious. Furthermore, its goals include contributing to community projects where it is located, such as hospitals, schools, daycare centers, and sports centers, among others.

FitCuba 2025, which ends this Saturday, was attended by tour operators, representatives of travel agencies, business leaders, and other industry professionals from 58 countries, and has been considered by organizers and the country's authorities to be one of the most successful in recent times.
