The provinces of Pinar del Rio, Artemisa, Havana, Mayabeque, and the special municipality of Isla de la Juventud will host the 13th edition of the Tourism and Nature event (Turnat) to take place from September 20 to 24, announced Longino Franquiz, commercial director of the Ecotur Travel Agency.
In a press conference offered this Thursday at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba, Franquiz detailed the program of the most important nature event that takes place in the largest of the Antilles and that will now be made up of 12 groups so that each one is focused on a specific activity.
Hiking, horseback riding, adventure and air sports, motorcycle and buggy, mountain biking, bird watching, sport fishing, diving, kayaking, nautical, agro-ecological farms and accessible tourism, whose participation in each specialty may be requested according to the preference of each event attendee.
This meeting will mainly promote exclusive experiences of nature tourism in places that are practically little explored and also includes the link with the communities and their local cultures that privilege the preservation of the natural environment.
According to Franquiz, Turnat 2022 will have its main sessions in the Cuban capital until the 24th and, later, from the 25th to the 28th, a post-event will be held. Those who are interested in participating or want more information can write to the email address: esp.eventos@occ.ecotur.tur.cu.
