Various product presentations on the second day of FITCuba

The second day of the 43rd International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2025) featured presentations by various entities in the sector and others linked in one way or another to the so-called smoke-free industry.

01-presentacion.jpgAmong the presentations was the 1st International Historical-Heritage Tourism Event, which, under the title "Loyal to Heritage," will take place next November, coinciding with the 506th anniversary of Havana. The event also aims to honor the legacy of the city's distinguished historian Eusebio Leal Spengler.

Furthermore, the Spanish chain Iberostar Cuba Hotels & Resorts, in addition to its presentation "Havana, a film city with hotels to match," announced the launch in the country of a new brand dedicated to large luxury hotels. Meanwhile, also in the morning, the Cubanacan hotel group presented its new campaign, "Motives Cubanacan because there are plenty of reasons to visit Cuba," with numerous offers on sun, beach, and nature products.

02-presentacion.jpgCubadeportes S.A. was another of the presentations today, during which the importance of this type of tourism was highlighted. This is evidenced by the fact that around 700 competitions take place on the island annually, among which the Havana Marathon stands out for its wide participation.

Another presentation focused on agrotourism through the El Patrón farm, located in the capital city of Guanabacoa, which is the first such project approved by the Ministry of Tourism in Cuba. In addition, there were other side presentations, including a tasting of cereals and sweets from the Cuban-Slovakian joint venture Proxcor.

03-presentacion.jpgThe event showcased the taste and quality of the products produced at its Caibarién factory, such as Guani cereals and Toco sorbets and cookies, which are in high demand in the domestic market and have strong export prospects. Finally, in the afternoon, the Havana Historic Center Facilitation Office (OFA) presented its innovative loyalty program for the Clásica (FINCIMEX) and Tropical (BANDEC) cards, allowing holders of these payment methods to receive personalized attention when visiting cultural and historical centers in the country's heritage cities.

The 43rd edition of FITCuba 2025, which will conclude on May 4th, will be attended by tour operators, travel agents, specialized press, and other industry professionals from numerous countries on all continents and is considered one of the most important tourism events in Latin America.
