Global Tours and Travel or GlobalTT of Guyana and Bay Gardens Beach Resort Spa have just signed a partnership agreement with the aim of expanding tourism in the Caribbean region.
The document, signed this week, envisions GlobalTT offering special all-inclusive tour packages and holidays to Saint Lucia for Guyanese. In addition to this, progress has been made in discussions with other service providers related to tourism on that island to ensure that it becomes an exciting destination for Guyanese tourists and those from other countries residing in the Caribbean country.
Among the travel packages for special events offered by GlobalTT are the holidays between May 5 and 14, 2023, coinciding with the Jazz Festival, and from July 1 to 19, when the Carnival of Saint Lucia takes place, andthe Mango Bowl Regatta.Regarding the agreement, the director of GlobalTT, Pedro Pablo Martínez Azcuy, said this "win-win" alliance is part of his company's strategy to increase tourism from Guyana to the rest of the Caribbean, as well as to promote other islandsof the region such as Cuba and Jamaica as preferential destinations.
