GDSIC investment conference to be held in the UK

UK-based, Caribbean-led company HenleyCaribbeanSustainable  VenturesLimited (HCSVL) will host a Guyana Diaspora Sustainability and Investment Conference (GDSIC) in Guyana.

According to information disclosed in Georgetown, this meeting, to take place on October 3 and 4 in some place of the United Kingdom yet to be defined, has the fundamental purpose of benefiting the Guyanese of the diaspora in general and they can take advantage of the opportunity to display your products, including craft items and services at the event.

David F. Roberts, Executive Director of HCSVL in London, expressed his satisfaction with the realization of this meeting, which is scheduled to take place annually, and said that "I am particularly delighted that HenleyCaribbeanSustainableVentures, with our strategic partners, can provide whatever necessary to allow Guyanese in the diaspora to participate in the conversation about Guyana's development."

“This is a golden opportunity for both the Guyanese government and the diaspora to explore avenues for mutual growth and development”, he stressed. GDSIC was conceived after the successful Guyana Energy Conference in Georgetown last February, in which the organizers recognized the meeting as a very good opportunity to establish fluid communication between the Caribbean country and the diaspora in the United Kingdom and Europe.

Henley Caribbean was created last November in Guyana with the purpose of using its strengths in access to technology and influential global partners to help the country in its efforts to achieve its environmental, social, and governance goals through sustainable practices.
